Home of Grand County deputy sheriff and sheep inspector Harvey Edward Herbert. Herbert arrived at Westwater around 1898 and lived there until he died in 1929. His home is near Bitter Creek, near river mile 128. He assisted Ellsworth Kolb and Bert Loper on their historic 1916 Westwater run.
